Día de los Muertos at Ámbar Restaurante

October 25 - November 10, 2024

Join us for 15 days of festivities at Ámbar Restaurante to celebrate Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead). This memorable holiday is when families honor their deceased loved ones with feasts featuring their favorite foods and beverages, decorated altars, lively music, games and folk dances. Dia de los Muertos originated in Mexico, but many people across the globe celebrate this time.

Día de los Muertos is traditionally a two-day holiday. November 1 is typically when altars and food preparation begins. November 2 is considered a day of celebration.

This year, Ámbar Restaurante will celebrate Día de los Muertos from October 25 - November 10. We are preparing an altar, traditional decor, and flowers throughout the week. In addition, you are encouraged to bring a photocopied image of your loved one to add to the altar.
